PEORIA, Ill., January 3, 2025—The Peoria Riverfront Museum provides a unique passport to fun, big rewards and special prizes, including the chance to win the ultimate museum trip to New York City. Gallery tours, exhibition scavenger hunts, Giant Screen Theater immersive documentaries, Dome Planetarium shows and more earn points that can be used to collect prizes through the museum’s Achievement Passport rewards program.

New for 2025 is the chance to win a grand prize trip for four to New York City with exclusive guided tours through the American Museum of Natural History and MoMA.

Now in its second year, the family friendly Achievement Passport rewards program is designed to build confidence, spark learning and engage visitors with all aspects of the museum, including exhibition tours, special programs and activities, educational movies, planetarium shows and performances.

Passport participants earn points for engaging in museum activities and become eligible to win museum prizes, such as telescopes, passes to partner museums, books and more. Prizes are awarded monthly. A grand prize winner will be selected from eligible participants in December 2025. Museum members earn double points.

In support of the Achievement Passport rewards program, the museum’s Access for All free days provides multiple activities throughout the museum, offering at least 100 points available to collect during the day. The first 250 passport participants who collect 100 points on Access for All Day receive a limited-edition enamel pin related to the event’s theme and celebrating iconic Peoria Riverfront Museum collection objects and exhibitions. Pins can be affixed to the free passport lanyard.

The museum hosts Access for All free days on the second Sunday of each month. The next Access for All free day is January 12, from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

Participation in the Achievement Passport program is free. Achievement Passports can be picked up at the museum’s front desk.

The Peoria Riverfront Museum Achievement Passport is sponsored by the Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program, Bon and Holly French Fund, and Visionary Society.

Generous support is provided by the Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.

A press conference will be held Monday, January 6, at 10 a.m., at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
